Android updates are a point of contention for many devices, but Samsung has been stepping up in a big way across the board. Now, the company has confirmed that Galaxy Enterprise devices will get a whopping five years of security updates, putting them at the top of the class for Android. Samsung previously announced in 2019 that it would provide four years of security updates to Enterprise devices. That policy, though, is now more closely matched by consumer-level Galaxy flagships. The Galaxy S21 and others now get three years of major OS upgrades and three years of security updates. This change in policy was mentioned in passing during yesterday’s Samsung MWC event that focused on its new “One UI Watch” experience built on top of Wear OS, but it’s also on Samsung’s website, too. Use Google Tasks to help you organize your Gmail inbox - Popular Science

Image
I've used my Gmail inbox as a to-do list as long as I've had one, scoffing at those who said it was a bad idea. But while it was easy to manage one or two messages a day, I began to struggle as I advanced in my career, received more messages, and found myself dealing with longer-term responsibilities. Was it time to give up? Never. There had to be a solution. And there was: Google Tasks. Although this tool has been around since 2008, it's easy to overlook. It doesn't even appear when you click on the Google apps icon (a three-by-three grid) at the top of your Gmail inbox in a browser. How to move emails to Google Tasks One of the biggest problems with my inbox to-do list was that it became almost impossible to remember what each message meant for me. It didn't matter that I'd labeled them with color-coded stars—I still had to run do

Microsoft Microsoft unveiled Windows 11 on Thursday, and it includes a bunch of new features -- including the ability to run Android apps . But there was there was already a way to do this, if you had a Samsung Galaxy phone. Certain Android phone users can currently access Android mobile apps directly from their Windows 10 PC, thanks to an update to the Your Phone app that Microsoft rolled out to the general public last August. Windows 10 also lets you run multiple Android mobile apps side by side on your Windows 10 PC and supported Samsung devices.  This feature lets you pin your favorite Android mobile apps to the Taskbar or Start menu on your computer for quick and easy access.
