Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update goes live - PiunikaWeb

Samsung is already rolling out an improved One UI 2.1 update to the likes of Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10. The One UI 2.1 skin comes pre-installed on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip and will for sure trickle down to older and mid-range handsets.

Until then, though, the likes of Samsung Galaxy A9 2018, which is not guaranteed an update to One UI 2.1, can only make do with the slightly older One UI 2.0 skin, but still based on the same Android 10 OS.

So far, Samsung has already pushed the One UI 2.0 update to a bunch of midrange handsets such as Galaxy M40, M30, M30s, M20, A80, A70, A70s, A50, A50s, A40, A30, A7 2018 and even the Galaxy A6.

The official software update tracker for the Galaxy A9 2018 in Poland hasn’t been updated to reflect the latest developments, but it should be updated in the coming days.

The incoming One UI 2.0 firmware will take time to roll out in all markets where the Galaxy A9 2018 is sold, so be patient as you wait for the OTA. Alternatively, you may also try the manual route with the help of Frija.
