Google to start enforcing its 30% cut of in-app purchases next year - comments - GSMArena.com

simply download a crack version of the same. and sideload it on ur phone :P

sounds cheap but efeective and helpful.

no need to pay money to any1. xD

It's Android, we don't care about a particular app being removed from Playstore coz it failed to comply with Google's 30% cut scheme.
Sideloading is super easy on Android.

For example widevine in netflix, or banking apps need safetynet to run.

You simply buy the whatever you want to buy, the tax/charge to playstore will be paid by developer/you depend how you think. You will not see how much the tax /charge to playstore, because the bill goes to developer and developer pay that.

Huawei's AppGallery only take 15% and only if the app maker is established

Anonymous, 13 hours agoThat's fine then make them good like apples no crap appsthat is so dumb, there are terrible apps on both stores, the difference being, on the play store those apps are usually free, no mormal android user would pay for that garbage content, way more rubbish ones still need paying for on IOS, what would be better is getting rid of a ton of those poor quality apps on both platforms and streamline the content to be higher quality, better performance all round worthy content

toukale, 14 hours agoI always get a kick out of comments like this. A few big companies that has the money can sta... moreSo I will weigh in as a developer. I know i am in the minority here, but multiple stores will introduce headaches and hassles to small developers as well. We as developers will probably have to distribute the APK file across all the app stores possible, which means some features specific to the Google Play Store will need to be re-adapted or removed for each store (e.g. In-App Billing, APK Bundles, etc...). Also, depending on the store, the crash reports that are well detailed in Play Console will be gone, so we will need to integrate third-party libs for error reporting such as Crashlytics or similar, probably increasing the size of the release APK. Not only the developers will suffer, the users will get their bad end of the deal as well. With multiple stores, it is inevitable that some apps will be exclusively released on one of the stores. Now as a user, you have to download a whole other store to just get an app you desire. It might sound easy for techies, but omg will it be hard to explain this to the rest of the people. Multiple stores will only benefit the rich (ahm Epic)!

And people were bashing only apple in that epic games article.. 😂😂

How about this?

All TV makers (Samsung, LG, Sony etc...) should start cutting (charging) 30% from paid content viewed by customers. Similar way all automobile industries should start cutting (charging) 30% from GAS fill up.

So basically even after paying full price of the equipment (electronics, automobile etc...), customers must be charged (punished) 30% from anything they buy for their equipment.

so will we see price increase in PlayStore

FarFan, 14 hours agoSo actually for third-party stores prices there will be two commissions - commission of store ... moreNo. You can install third-party app stores using the web browser. Then Google can’t take a cut.

Mr. Anonymous, 14 hours agoLooks like you didn't get my point and didn't read the article carefully. I'm ... moreDoes not help when Google keeps demanding apps ONLY to work with their payment system, worse yet is they have done nothing to stop app makers from doing "oh no GMS? well to bad the game cannot boot LMAO" behavior of any companies!

So actually for third-party stores prices there will be two commissions - commission of store and 30% commission for Google payment system.

Let's imagine your app or service costs 10$ in side store,
then Google gets 30% of deal (3$) - that's 7$ left
then side store get's 30% of total price (they are not worse than google!) - 4$ you own
6$ get corporations.
Nice!
And then google doesn't allow you get android auto, google pay on wearables, youtube music on google home, etc. if you are not living in US\UK
