Samsung Galaxy Note10 series receiving Android 11-based One UI 3 update - Android Police

Samsung's been at the top of its game when it comes to software updates lately, and most recently that's taken the shape of bringing One UI 3.0 to the Galaxy family. Hot on the heels of the Note 20 series getting a taste of Android 11, Samsung is now rolling out One UI 3.0 to the Notes of yesteryear — the Note10 and the Note10+. Surprisingly, the update has landed a couple of days earlier than the scheduled release of January 2021. This doesn't happen quite often, so if you're a Note10 owner, you may consider this to be a year-end treat from Samsung. The update is currently going out to the Exynos variants in different countries across Europe. Global models of the Note10 (SM-N970F) and the Note10+ (SM-N975F) are currently receiving the Android 11 update (N97xFXXU6ETLL) in Germany. We're also seeing the Note10+ 5G (model number SM-N976B) getting its update (N976BXXU6ETLL) in Switzerland and Germany. It includes the December 2020 security patch and several new On

Samsung has updated these phones to Android 11 - 9to5Google

It usually takes Android OEMs a fair bit to get the latest version of the OS on older devices, but Samsung has been getting better and better at this every year. For Android 11, the official update schedule kicked off in early December and continues to expand. Here’s every device Samsung has updated to Android 11 so far. This article will be continuously updated with new devices as rollouts begin. Samsung’s Android 11 update brings the typical features you know and love from Google’s update, including notification improvements, Bubbles for messages, and many others. One that was unfortunately cut, though, was Google’s useful power menu shortcuts for smart home devices. Shame. On top of Android 11, the smartphone giant is also including One UI 3.0, which includes all of the features Galaxy owners have known and loved for years, as well as a few new additions and a fresh coat of paint on the design as a whole. It’s a slick look that continues to refine Samsung’s work on Android that

This new update for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra international variant (SM-N986B) carries the build number N986BXXU1CTL5. It also includes the December 2020 Android security patch. Samsung kicked off its Android 11/One UI 3.0 update earlier this month and, now, things are accelerating. Over the weekend, the Android 11 update started rolling out on the Galaxy Note 20 series in the US starting with AT&T-sold models. A sizeable 2.5GB update is heading to Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra owners on AT&T which delivers the Android 11 update as well as Samsung’s One UI 3.0 changes. A handful of users on Reddit and Twitter have confirmed the news. Once installed, this update brings the build number N986USQU1CTL2 and also installs the timely December 1st security patch. Again, this update is only rolling out at the moment for AT&T-sold Note 20 devices, not unlocked units or those from other carriers. If previous rollouts are any indication, though, Verizon and T-Mobile will likely follow-up in just a matter of days! As previously detailed, Samsung’s Android 11 update for the Note 20 and other Galaxy devices brings with it support for the changes Google itself del

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story……. Original story (published on August 08, 2020) follows: Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra at a Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on August 5. The event also welcomed the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Watch3, and Galaxy Buds Live, but one thing stood out for sure, at least for software update fans. At the event, Samsung revealed that the Galaxy Note 20 will receive three Android OS updates all through to Android 13. That’s some feat coming from Samsung, which has been offering two OS updates to all Galaxy devices regardless of the price. This changes going forward. And even better is that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra aren’t alone. If you own any of the devices in the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series, you are also guaranteed at least three Android OS updates. Samsung commits to 3 Android OS updates Yes, this means OS updates for the Galaxy Note 10 and S
