Samsung Galaxy S10 series is getting July 2022 security update - SamMobile - Samsung news

After the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, and the Galaxy S22, Samsung has started rolling out the July 2022 security update to the Galaxy S10 series. It is good to see that Samsung is rolling out monthly security updates even to phones that are more than three years old.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and the Galaxy S10+ bumps up the firmware version to G97xFXXSFHVG3. It brings the July 2022 security patch that fixes over 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities. The update also fixes other bugs and improves system stability.

If you are in Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Southeast Europe, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, or the Netherlands, you can download the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.

The Galaxy S10 was launched in early 2019 with Android 9 onboard. Samsung released the Android 10 update to the Galaxy S10 series in early 2020, the Android 11 update in early 2021, and the Android 12 update earlier this year.
