Stremio has two types of add-ons — official add-ons and community add-ons. 

Official add-ons are developed and maintained by Stremio, and they come installed by default. You can't uninstall the official add-ons either.

On the other hand, community add-ons (aka unofficial add-ons) are developed by Stremio community users. Stremio has no control over these add-ons. They don't come installed by default, but you can install or uninstall them manually.

Stremio's add-on library is somewhat smaller than Kodi's add-on library. Plus, when you install a Stremio add-on, it's installed online in your account and not locally on your device. This means that once you've installed a Stremio add-on, it will be available on all your Stremio devices as long as you're logged in to the same Stremio account.

You can install Stremio add-ons with one click, but since there are only a few add-ons, you might find some unfamiliar names on the list. 1. Netflix

Select a Netflix show or a movie on Stremio and select the Netflix add-on. It will take you to the relevant Netflix show in your browser. Next, enter your Netflix login details to start streaming.

2. Torrentio

Torrentio is the best Stremio add-on if you want to stream content from torrents. Having Torrentio pretty much eliminates the need for adding another add-on for torrenting websites because it can stream content from torrents on YTS, EZTV, RARBG, 1337x, and several other websites.

However, Torrentio isn't available within the Stremio add-on library. You'll need to go to the addon's URL and install it from there. Once you're done, you should see Torrentio listed as a source on Stremio.

3. The Pirate Bay

The Pirate Bay add-on gives you access to the popular torrent website's torrent links. This lets you watch TV shows and movies for free by pulling streams from torrent files available on the website.
