Samsung has rolled out a new software update for the Galaxy S23 series phones. Samsung's monthly security updates seem to be arriving later than usual these days, no doubt because the company's attention is on the One UI 6.1 rollout for eligible devices, but things may finally be getting back on track. The May 2024 security update was recently releaed for devices like the Galaxy S24, and it is now making its way to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The US is the first market to get the update. The update debuted on some carrier-locked units, but we can expect a release for unlocked units (and for other countries) in the next few days.
